I’m Usha Vedula. Thank you for visiting my site. I am a photographer based in the Racine/Milwaukee area in Wisconsin. I specialize in people photography and photographing families, young adults, children, babies and fabulous fifties is my passion. I shoot on location and believe in capturing the essence of the person and of the moment in my images.
I have an incredibly talented son, who is a musician and a youth advisor, and an amazing husband of 29 years. I form deep and nurturing friendships and have been very fortunate to find many friends along my way that are kind, soulful, funny and passionate. My family and friendships mean everything to me. I love to have experiences, long intimate conversations, travel, teach and go out on the town with close friends.
Photography has been a love of mine for over ten years. I consider myself lucky to have found photography. It has taught me to see, observe, feel, enjoy and connect with people around me in ways that I never did before. My eyes are more open to “seeing the inner beauty” now and I am grateful for the my ability to convey my passion through images.
After taking beautiful images of family and friends in casual settings, friends began asking me to photograph their families and friends. Before I knew it, Usha Vedula Photography was born.
I can’t imagine life without photography. I always look forward to meeting wonderful, new people and creating beautiful images that are personal. Simply put, I absolutely LOVE what I do. I am so grateful and blessed to be able to do what I enjoy so much everyday.
